"Massage is not a luxury, but a way to a happier, healthier life"

I believe our lives would all be a little better and a little easier if we had more massage!

I use massage and Pilates to help people function more effectively and feel better in their daily lives.

If you need Pilates or massage in Peebles, get in touch, I look forward to hearing from you.

My story & training:

Whilst juggling jobs and a young family, I did a weekend massage course; I like to learn new skills and thought this would be fun - little did I know it was going to be a life changer!

Within weeks of doing the introductory course to Swedish Massage, I was signed up for the full diploma and had found my new vocation. The anatomy fascinated me and I realised how powerful a tool massage is for helping people in a variety of ways.

I completed my diploma in Swedish massage with Scottish Massage Schools in 2014. In 2015, I gained a diploma in On-site Chair Massage to bring massage to a wider audience in their workplace or at events. In 2016, I completed my diploma in Remedial and Sports Massage with the Western School in Glasgow which gave me a deeper understanding of anatomy and function and some new techniques to treat clients more effectively.  After discovering the benefits of Pilates myself, I trained over 2018-2021 to gain teaching diplomas from the Energywise Academy and MKPilates. In 2023, after several shorter courses, I completed a Certificate in Advanced Myofascial Release with Jing, and am really enjoying exploring this with clients as it seems a bit of a 'game changer' when it comes to pain and supporting clients in elevating their sense of well-being. I hold professional registration with the Scottish Massage Therapist Organisation (SMTO) and enjoy constantly growing my experiences and skills through further courses, reading, events and, importantly, working with clients.

I am based in Silver Tree Studio just off Peebles High Street (where I offer massage and Pilates classes/1:1). I can also offer mobile visits to accommodation, events, workplaces and your home if this is what you need.

Over the last decade (and more!) I've enjoyed working at sporting events, including with International rugby and cycling teams, local heros and many people who enjoy activities at a more local level (parkrun, weeding the garden, sitting at a desk! etc). Working with clients has taught me that massage therapy can do so much more than ease a sore muscle, it can help you feel and function better across different aspects of your life. Many of my clients now are those that booked because of an injury or high-stress levels and continue to use massage for the wider benefits they feel. We can feel and function better by proactively choosing self-care and listening to our bodies. Also, massage feels great, so why not?!

I really enjoy working with clients so get booked in!

Whether you're thinking of a 1-off treat or a series of sessions to help with general well-being, relaxation, sports training or pain-relief, get in touch for Pilates and massage in Peebles.
